Welcome to the Cardiff Group of Amnesty International
This is the homepage of the Cardiff Group of Amnesty International UK, part of the worldwide movement of Amnesty International. We are an active group based in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales in the UK. The group meets on the second Monday of each month (except August and Bank Holidays) at 7.30pm. Meetings are held in the Quaker Meeting House (downstairs in the meeting room) on Charles Street in Cardiff city centre, 10 minutes walk from Central Station and the Bus Station. Everyone is welcome. Forthcoming events Our next group meeting is on Monday 13th February with guest speaker Hugh Sandeman, Amnesty's country co-ordinator for Algeria, who will talk about the Arab Spring and Human Rights together with a brief update on the campaign for the truth about "disappeared" journalist Djamel Fahassi.
