Welcome to the Cardiff Group of Amnesty International
This is the homepage of the Cardiff Group of Amnesty International UK, part of the worldwide movement of Amnesty International. We are an active group based in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales in the UK. The group meets on the second Monday of each month (except August and Bank Holidays) at 7.30pm. Meetings are held in the Quaker Meeting House (downstairs in the meeting room) on Charles Street in Cardiff city centre, 10 minutes walk from Central Station and the Bus Station. Everyone is welcome. See the diary page for details of forthcoming meetings. We are now also on Facebook (but not sure what we're doing yet!). Our next group meeting is on July 14th when we will be writing letters for our current campaigns. There will also be an introduction to Amnesty letter writing for newer members. We are involved in several of Amnesty International's campaigns - why not find out more and get involved? Our main focus over the coming months is China.
