Amnesty International opened its Wales office in November 2002. The office is based in Cardiff and provides a focus for Amnesty International's campaigning, fundraising and events in Wales. Wales Programme Director, Cathy Owens, manages the office and would like to develop a team of committed volunteers.

Wales Office activities include relations with the National Assembly, PR and media coverage of Amnesty International events and campaigns in Wales, work with schools and colleges and the development of Wales specific resources.
