In this new century why not try skiing on a new continent?
We now offer a program of downhill ski or snowboard holidays in South America. This itinerary is based in the resorts of central Chile, where there is good powder at high altitude, with plenty of clear sunny days. It is at it's best in August and September. The pistes are incredibly quiet and the snow is usually excellent. If you are a teacher this is your big chance to have a ski holiday without queues!!
These holidays are quite different from our main trek and expedition program in that they are entirely hotel and restaurant based. However, rather than ski just one resort we will visit five of the best resorts in Chile on this itinerary - Chillan, Valle Nevado, Colorado, La Parva and Portillo. We will ski each major area for two days.
We use a mixture of small family run hotels and chalet-type accommodation. The cost of lift passes is not included in our price, they cost between $25 and $35 per day, depending on the resort, the season and the day of the week.
