Artefacts and Making Your Own Powers

If none of this make sense to you, and that's probably because it doesn't, then tell me what you
want and I can tell you how much it would cost.

This all horribly open to abuse and has never really been play tested, so I reserve the right to
make changes to effects and costs even when a game has started.

For the points the standard powers are stronger and better value but these are at least as much fun.

Instead of  +5 for transferals, +10 for implants or whatever I use multipliers.

Transferal     *3 Quality
                    *4 Power

Implant        *5 Quality
                   *6 Power

Innate          *6 Quality
                   *7 Power

Armour and Damage count as powers making them a bit more expensive.

Vitality and Stamina are now combined into Endurance which could make your magical long
leaping, high stamina horse cheaper.

Regeneration (4 pt power) that can used on anything other than the item itself, costs an extra 10 pts,
in an attempt at game balance.  Healing wands and the lilke may also cost more.

Weapons that have range  (including guns, magic wands etc) need 4 pts mold reality
or trump powered 4pts ( to allow them to work anywhere) and also require an endurance of  1, 2, or 4 pts
( depending on the number and powers of shot required).  These extra costs are to stop ( and I've been
guilty before)  people going around with machine guns and other things that work anywhere and can
decimate hordes of enemies even tough ones with little effort.

Movement is now different I haven't worked what you will get but you will get more for your points.
There are some examples below.    I am not happy with the current rules which don't charge for what
something is worth but rather how many points it might take to make.

Oh and there is nothing wrong with having plain simple items, like double damage swords, in this
campaign.

Some Examples

Prince Cedric's father was an Iron Lord who are supernaturally tough.
Player decides that this will be mean he has 2 pt armour skin making
him bullet proof.
Armour is now a power so thats  2 * 7 = 14 pts
Much more expensive than a suit of armour but it doesn't weigh anything
and you can never be caught without it on.

Master Zu has trained for decades in martial arts and has hands that
damage anything even granite, which he can also use parry blows.
Power required is Extra Hard at innate level.   1 * 7 = 7 pts

Princess Helga's non-Amber mother was a limited shape shifter and Helga
has inherited some of this power.
If all she can do is change face 1pt cost seems fair    1 * 7 = 7 pts

If she can transform into a wolf  or                   2 * 7 = 14 pts
other useful form
Lots animal forms  eg. eagles,                          3 * 7 = 21 pts
                                    dolphins, tigers.
Lots of usefull forms plus assume                     4 * 7 = 28 pts
form of desired person

Note this 28 point shape shifting is inferior to chaos shape shifting, you try walking the
logrus with this power you will die.

Ysaarg, Dragon Friend has magical belt which allows him to fly.
Transfered quality.
Levitation and slow forward movement        1 * 3 = 3 pts
Moves around at running speed                   2 * 3 = 6 pts
Flies around like a swallow                          3 * 3 = 9 pts

Duke Gianno is afraid of assassins and secretly uses his sorcery and pattern to
build himself a crystal which will sit inside himself and regenerate him if he is
injured. Implant,  power and + 10 for regeneration.
6 * 4 + 10 = 34 pts
34 pts is a lot but if does what is advertised to do i.e. keep him alive
then its not that much.
