Introduction
Mobius is a constructor. A few years ago he began appearing in Amber
after
an absence of ten years. Bringing intricately constructed toys he traded
them for high quality raw materials. Mobius is beginning to build a
reputation for highly interesting, fiendishly complicated and challenging
toys, games and puzzles.
Appearance
Mobius' colours are dark red and green and his symbol a circular strip
twisted such that it only has one side when followed around. Mobius
himself
wears a heavy tweed travelling jacket, dark red boiler suit and green
baseball cap with an eyepiece on an adjustable metal bracket.
Items
Draco is Mobius method of transport. It is a large mechanical horse
intricately detailed with a complex design covering all parts.
Shadow
For those interested Mobius can be found on the shadow of Fyleria. A
peaceful and dreamy backwater whose inhabitants a laid back lifestyle
assisted by automated systems. Only one city exists which is small
and
holds the governing council who have little to do anyway. Mobius lives
in a
modest marble tower where he has his workshop.
Background
Born of union between of Gerard and an unknown mother on an unknown
shadow.
Gerard himself remembers little or nothing of the encounter being
heroically drunk at the time. However it is known that either alcohol
is
particularly potent in this shadow or the inhabitants kept up with
Gerard
for an obscene amount of time. Gerard has only met Mobius on a couple
of
occasions and has not really formed an opinion on him.
Current Interests
About twice a year Mobius travels into Amber where he trades finished
items
for more raw materials. He does not seem to make much profit each time
but
is satisfied if he gains what he needs. He also makes use of libraries
and
research facilities that are available in Amber.
Conclusion
Mobius is polite, carefully mannered but with an ability to focus
completely on any task at hand. Believed by many around Amber to be
a
little eccentric but well within the range of acceptable behaviours.
