Description:
Myrddin looks to be around sixty years old with gray thinning hair
a little past shoulder length and piercing blue eyes that glare from
under gray bushy eyebrows. His figure is bent alittle and he uses a
staff - made of willow and looking a natural branch, even the three
fingers of wood that engulf the small blue crystal ball that has small
flickers of lightening striking the sides every few seconds looks
natural - to lean on, he always moves quickly though. He is almost
always wearing brown woollen pants and shirt and a brown cloak with
hood. On special occasions it's a smart all black tux and a bright
almost incandescent blue cape that hangs down to his feet.
History:
No-one knows exactly where Myrddin came from, many years ago he walked
into Amber and walked straight to the Pattern unchallenged. Once
completed he teleported to the throne room bowed to the newly crowned
Random and walked straight out. It's thought some strange sorcery was
used but no one is sure and memories are of the incident are vague
at
best. However Myrddin has always reported to the throne and is a well
renowned hot spot diplomat. He goes into shadows close to Amber that
are
near boiling point and trys to calm the situation, if diplomacy fails
he
solves the situation according to his best thoughts or whims at the
time. Sometimes he will let two opposing armies get onto the field
then
levitating above them rain death upon them both. Other times he will
wipe out particularly uncooperative leaders in order to avert war.
Often
his actions are deemed questionable by others but his reply is always
that there is a balance and a circle of life, these must be followed.
Feelings towards him are mixed but he reports directly to Random and
has
spent many hours in discussion with him, and if the King thinks his
actions are valid then who is to question a King?
Also known as a remarkable healer, Royalty throughout the Golden circle
pay large sums of money and land for his renowned healing ability.
Spending a large amount of his life as people know him now, Myrddin
has
a lot of close friends in high places throughout the Golden Circle
who
send reports to him regularly of the situation in their shadow. In
this
way he keeps tabs on what is happening where and can be at the right
place at the right time. Hopefully.
