SUCCESS STORIES

SANDOWN PARK 02.02.2002

As good as the 6 entrants potentially are, this is a Grade 1 race only in name. Course and distance winner Returning (put in her place by Seebald), Silence Reigns (a winner at Chepstow last time out, but not convincing over these obstacles) and Bounce Back (useful who has flattered to deceive so far over the fences in this country) head the market, and are the likeliest winners, but are all opposable. I would probably pass on this race as a result, however Furlong to Go's policy is to provide a selection for each race. I have a lot of time for Golden Goal who won easily at Plumpton last time out. He has the most scope of these runners, and it isn't stretching the imagination to believe that he can figure here. If I were to have any investment in the race, it would probably be on him.

10/1 Winner
