What Is Coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative partnership that allows you to begin living your ideal life sooner and more effectively that you would if you were creating it alone.

The focus is on you, the client.

With Ann as your coach, she is your mentor, guide, partner, sounding board and advocate.

The personal coaching environment is a safe, confidential place for you to begin to explore your authentic self, develop skills, excavate your true desires and realize greater fulfilment in life.

 How Does Coaching Work?

Coaching is a proactive experience that grounds concepts in the steps necessary to make ideas into reality.  It works because of:

Synergy: The coach and client become a team. They are partners, focused on the client’s goals and needs. Together they can accomplish more than if they were alone. “Two heads are better than one”

Structure: With a coach the client takes more actions, thinks bigger, gets the job done using a game plan and doable action steps

Expertise:  Coaches inspire, nudge clients on the right direction, keep them focused and on purpose, bring out their best in their natural abilities, their strengths, and their unique gifts. The focus in coaching is on developing the person, who they ARE instead of the many things they DO.

Coaching kicks people out of their ripe and rotting comfort zone into a green and growing stretch zone. Coaching guides and encourages them to take risks that can create happiness on their job, in relationships and in life.

Often Ann's role is to ask questions to help the client find their own answers and see their problem from the position of their greatest strength.

 Is Coaching for You?

Not everyone is ready for a coach. You have to be ready, willing and able to change behaviours that have not gotten results for you in the past, to accept responsibility, and to let nothing stand in your way.

You have to give it time also; not only for the actual session, but also for actions between calls that support the changes you are seeking.

After several months, you will find your life is renewed. You will be more intentional about your actions and choices. You will be more aware. Your body will be healthier and less stressed and you will experience freedom from material and emotional clutter. You will be living better.

   How Long Before I See Results?

Usually positive results begin to manifest right away.  An outside maximum is between three and six months. As a beginning Ann guarantees her clients that within 4 coaching sessions they will see results happening.  However for more longer-lasting results and achievements she requests that her clients commit to a three month minimum of coaching sessions so they can observe the unfolding of their process and focus more on that process than being in a hurry to get any result.

If you are committed to working towards personal and professional goals with Ann as your coach, you should see progress in the first couple of weeks.

By breaking down big goals into small achievable goals, you may experience success from the beginning.
