Ironbridge House, Ironbridge, Shropshire



Three nights with three very special people. Once again, it all went far too fast and felt like it was over just as I was getting used to such grand living. The house itself was cute but paled in comparison to the breathtaking view of the mighty Iron Bridge. We talked, we walked and it will come as no surprise to hear that we drank lots of wine too. The new year's resolution to cut down on sweets, snacks and alcohol were put on hold for this special weekend.

7. It's not every house that has a war memorial on the doorstep.	8. During the day there was plenty of waterfowl in evidence...	9. During the night there wasn't - but we fed them anyway!
10. Lady Jo and my good self on our doorstep.	11. Caroline the creative made this rather lovely garland by cutting up aluminium cans.	12. Big walk to Ironbridge Gorge, when we got there it was just closing. Nevermind.
