40. John Strutt

John Strutt was the father of John Strutt. According to information received over the Internet from David Strutt, John Strutt was born in 1793 and married Mary (nee Strutt), and lived in the same street in Maldon, Essex, as David Strutt's ancestor Samuel Strutt (born c 1790) and James Strutt (born 1803). I would think there's a good chance these were brothers.

According to David Strutt, John Strutt's children were: Mary Ann (b 1817), Sarah Ann (b 1820), John Strutt (b 1823), Eliza (b 1823), George (b 1826), William (b 1830) and Louisa (b 1832).

He was a labourer when his John married Honor Brewer at the parish church of St Mary in Maldon on 17 September 1848.
