Play Readings

Play readings are generally held at 8:00pm on the first Wednesday of every other month starting in March, in the Committee Room of the Village Hall.   They are very informal occasions — specifically, they are NOT AUDITIONS!. We have a cup of something and just sit and read plays, swapping roles — depending on the numbers who turn up.

It is an opportunity for those who do not wish to tread the boards, or who have not the confidence to do so, or those who say they cannot learn lines to take on a role. Of course it is open to all even the experienced amongst us as we can take on roles we could not play on stage.
