Inside the rear chassis rails. Bolts holes tubed and M20 nut for lifting eyes tacked into place before closing off the chassis. The true Land Rover aficionado will recognise the warning sticker on the tube. Lets hope I don't get any flat tyres :-) |

The crossmember is an automatic Range Rover gearbox
crossmember. The cage will run back to the very end of the chassis to help out with the strength. The crossmember will be replaced by a winch mount for a Superwinch Husky as soon as funds allow. Bolt in design allows for future engine removal. |
