CONDITIONS
OF LET
1.
Lets run from Saturday to Saturday, with entry to the property no earlier
than 4.00 pm. The property is to be vacated by 10.00 am on the Saturday of
departure.
2.
Departure prior to Saturday, 10.00 am must be notified to the owner or
the owner's representative.
3.
A deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking. The balance of the
rental fee is due no later than 28 days prior to the commencement of the let.
The rental fee includes the cost of electricity used and supply of bed linen.
The lessee must provide their own towels and tea towels.
4.
The property is not booked until the deposit is paid. In the event of
more than one person expressing an interest in booking the property for a
particular period, the owner reserves the right to let the property to the
person whose deposit is received first.
5.
In the case of bookings made within 28 days of commencement of the let,
the deposit and fee must be paid in full at the time of booking.
6.
If the full fee is not received by the stipulated time, the owner
reserves the right to relet the property and, if not relet, to retain the
deposit.
7.
If, after having paid the full fee, the lessee cancels the booking, fails
to arrive or leaves after arrival for any reason, return of all or part of the
fee is at the owners discretion. The owner will not be liable for any
consequential losses arising from the failure of the lessee to take up the
cottage or the early departure of the lessee for any reason. It is recommended
that the lessee arrange a suitable holiday cancellation policy.
8.
The property is to be left in a clean and tidy condition, all dishes and
cutlery to be washed, dried and put away and indoor waste bins emptied into the
outside bin. The owner has arrangements in place for the regular cleaning of the
cottage and will not be held responsible for any claims arising from the failure
of previous tenants.
9.
All shortages and damage occurring during the let are the responsibility
of and are to be paid for by the lessee.
10.
The lessee shall not bring pets to the property.
