jsBattery - new battery status monitor for
Psion
jsBattery is the professional battery manager for Psion Series 5/5mx/5mx
Pro and Ericsson MC218 pocket computers. Besides common battery monitoring
facilities (including a graph view), it provides a number of advanced functions
for getting better information on batteries and better battery management.
The original, but much less equipped, battery monitor BattStatus has been
withdrawn from the site.

zEXE updated to v1.09
zEXEIt is advertised as the only tool for the EPOC32 platform that
can save disk space without losing any system functionality. zExe compresses
executable files (applications) and libraries (dlls) written on C++ language.
They are, for example, some Neuon and RMR programs, Opera, Web, WAP Browser,
eshell, eDoom and many others (.exe, .app, .dll, .ctl, .opx, ...).
Overall compression ratio is about 50%, thus you can save some MBytes of
space. The update includes improved compatibility. Problems with EPOC EMX
and Cyrlat have also been fixed. |
FastBackup updated
FastBackup is a nice incremental backup program for EPOC. It is fast, flexible,
and simple to use. It can be automatically run using CronTab.
FastBackup is also memory efficient, extensible by OPL programmers, and open
source.

PsiWallpaper updated to v1.85
PsiWallpaper has been updated to version 1.85. The new version fixes a bug
in the adjust time for summer time and winter (daylight saving). PsiWallpaper
is a freeware wallpaper customisation utility. It is the changing face of

system screen again.

SameGame v1.30 available for Psion
platform
SameGame is a simple but extremely addictive game in which the idea is to
remove all the balls on the screen. Balls can only be removed if they are
next to a ball of the same colour, in which case that ball is also removed.
The more balls that are removed each turn, the higher the score.
As balls are removed, the ones above and to the right of them fall down to
fill in the gaps. This is an improved version; at first specially written
for Series7 and netBook, but now also compatible with the Series5 and 5(...)

PsiCards for Psion updated and the game also ported
to Nokia 9200 platform
PsiCards has been released for Nokia 92xx computers! In addition, the Epoc
version has been updated to version 1.95. This version fixes a number of
bugs and improves game play as well as adding a few new features. The new
version for Psion has the following enhancements:

Corrected a bug in the PsiCards game that effects players who use the keyboard.
There was no way to move a completed set of cards in the Spider game from
the play area. To correct this a new menu option has been added (Move->Move
Set Off).

Corrected the Nokia installation file which was missing two OPX installation
files which have now been added.
Pocket IQ would also like to point out that registering PsiCards entitles
the named user to run the game on any supported platform. This protects you
for future upgrades to support future Symbian devices running OPL.

PsiBlocks updated
PsiBlocks installation file has been rebuilt to fix the problem with the
installation of the graphics files on a Series 7 or netBook. PsiBlocks is
the tetris clone in your pocket.
This game provides three variations: Blocks, Columns and Challenge, each
with two levels of difficulty provided by extra block shapes.

MyNotes updated to v2.48
MyNotes has been updated to v2.48. The latest enhancements include the addion
of a Recent Files option (File|Recent Files or Shift+Fn+R) and the possibility
for a specific file to appear at switch on. Also added is a "Send To (ticked
notes)..." option and it 's now possible to use mixed case letters in filenames,
although the first letter is still always changed to upper-case.
MyNotes is a note-taking application, which allows short notes (up to 255
characters) to be entered. Notes may be displayed in a variety of styles
(Ticked, Striped out, Bold or Italic) and one of three fonts (Arial, Times
New Roman or Courier); notes can also be allocated numbered priorities. It
is possible to tick or stripe-out notes using the pen. MyNotes also has a
powerful sort function (alphabetically, by priority or by date). Notes can
saved as text, CSV and HTML files.

nSISUtil updated to v1.40
With nSISUtil you can develop programs entirely on your EPOC machine, without
ever having to use a Windows PC for the final build phase. Though nSISUtil
offers more than the EPOC Windows SDK's SIS compiler with a user-friendly
user interface and helpful syntax checking and report and sometimes can
automatically prepare a solution.

Mr Matt now available in
Bulgarian
The puzzle game that rocks now speaks Bulgarian. Mr Matt 2.01 (released recently)
was advertised as coming with Bulgarian support, but unfortunately although
it worked fine once installed, EPOC release 5 and earlier versions lack of
support for Bulgarian meant that it wasn't possible to install it. Further,
the installer could crash for other, non-Bulgarian users. This has now been
fixed by providing the Bulgarian resources as a separate download which can
be installed over Mr Matt installed in some other language. Full instructions
(in Bulgarian) are included.
