Since the beginning of human existence, there has been a fascination with the afterlife.  Virtually all religions and beliefs have their own version of what they believe happens at and beyond the moment of death.  There is an unquenchable desire across the human race to hold onto the belief that there is something more to life.  That perhaps the end of earthly existence is merely the doorway to some higher place or alternate reality.  In many cases these beliefs are perpetuated by the stories of those who have “come back” from near death experiences.  Stories of being drawn to a bright light or of floating above themselves in out-of-body experiences are common.  Whilst medical science puts forward a number of possible explanations for these experiences, no one really understands their meaning.  This is the story of a man whose day starts off like any other, but fate intervenes and he finds himself on the bridge ....................

"The Bridge Stories" is an album consisting of original music, songs and narration.  The Bridge Stories is based on a short story inspired by the wonderful novel by Iain Banks called "The Bridge".  All music and lyrics is written and performed by Andy M Jones and the story is narrated by Victoria Wright.  Special thanks also go to Steve Wright for the fretless bass on Arrival Part II.
