MGs with the Speed of Lite
Now recognised by the MGCC as a sub-group of the MGCC Midget Register
Hi!
You have reached Anthony Cutler's web page, a treasure-trove of misinformation for the unwary, under perpetual reconstruction. It's dedicated to one of the finer things in life, namely:
Kseries MG Midgets are giant-killing sports cars, combining rapid acceleration (0-60 <6 secs) with great looks, handling and Q-car fun. So many 'high-performance' cars are easily eaten for breakfast by the simple, innocuous KMidget using the light-weight KSeries engine. Check out the Kmidget Register for the ultimate car directory. Here are some Fine Pics Of Other Kmidgets, to show you that BRB is not the only way to create a great car (send me a pic of yours). Plus some Action Pics 2002 , Action Pics 2003 and Action Pics 2004 from the MGCC Speed Championship (but put your cocoa down first). Why not pick up some tips from the experts in the Hillclimb And Sprint Master-Class. If that isn't completely overwhelming enough, what about Ant's Midget Tuning Favourites? Finally, you might want to check the Competition Venue Rating Page for a hugely biased view of the finest hillclimb venues where men of truly intrepid sporting disposition grit their teeth, plant the welly and hang on.

Thinking about converting your Midget? Here are some of the things that you might want to consider. (NEW!!)
Did you go to SPRIDGET-50? Nearly 1000 Midgets, Sprites, and their people.
We had a great time at Aldon Automotive: 4 KMIDGETs on the 'road'. We saw 180 bhp and 165 lb-ft (but not on the same car).
Now this is a yearly MGCC Midget Register event, we were back in Nov-10 for more; check out:
BRB Aldon video showing 154 bhp and 170 lb-ft
VLM Aldon video recording 119 bhp from 1.4 KSeries
RMV Aldon video showing 181 bhp
We had a great track-session at Silverstone (organised by www.mgs-on-track.com/) on Monday 15th August 2011; check out the team and their cars (with K-BGT interloper):
Above L-R: Dave Pearce, (unknown), Tim Dalton (RMV: 180bhp), Anthony Cutler (BRB: 154bhp), Jonathan Severn (YKF: quick 1.4K), Tamsin and James Hebditch (CUJ: 180 bhp racer), Nick Poulton (K-BGT: really, an honorary KMidget), Neil Thomas (FEV: 140+bhp). CUJ was the fastest in the 'experienced' session, followed closely (literally!) by BRB.
We love our other cars too, most of the time (updated)
Family page to reinforce my reputation and credentials as a class-winning son, brother, father and husband; it will remain on the site until someone else around here learns about ftp; this may not be long, once the page is up.
And here's a top sheet on enjoying ourselves and again here. Crikey! Some more here!
