What is our Mission?

Archway International’s mission is to raise the profile of processes as core Intellectual Value in international organisations.

Too many companies are losing basic understanding of their processes as they continuously automate and outsource.
Archway International believes that this loss of Intellectual Capital is a significant reason for the failure of Business Reengineering and IT Projects.

What is our Objective?

Our objective is to advise and guide business through cross-cultural process reengineering and technology change – ie: we are "doers" as well as "advisors"!

How do we do it?

Archway International Limited represents a group of consultants, practised in cross cultural infrastructure change management. Specialist areas include Information Technology & Services, Business Process Engineering and Operational Risk Management.

These consultants bring their own network of contacts to the company, as well as working through the company as consultants.

Archway International Ltd. is NOT a headhunting or contract agency. All consultants are carefully vetted, to ensure that Archway International becomes a brand name upon which blue chip organisations can depend for quality in the services we provide. We will not be all things to all people, and will concentrate on the following services:

Archway International Limited is a new company.  It was formed by Archie Garden who recognised that the requirements of the cross-border financial services industry was not being successfully met by so called "specialist" consulting groups.   Archie was Corporate International Operations and Systems Director for one of the big 5 UK banks and formerly European IT Director for a UK based investment bank.
  Archways International has the following values:
    1. We want to have fun!! We all left permanent employment for the variety and challenge of going it alone.
    2. Archway International does not headhunt! We will neither rip off our consultants nor our clients.
    3. We want consultants to continue working for us and to be proud to use the Archway name. However, this does not preclude your working via other agencies should you so desire – it is Archway’s job to ensure you get satisfaction through its own network!!
    4. We will ensure that the amount deducted from consultant's day rates will be the minimum to support the administration of Archway International – it is expected that (subject to the contacts provided) the maximum deduction will amount to 5%.
    5. Consultants are required to maintain Archway International’s contacts and customer database – such that it will become a source of value for all Archway International consultants.

What do you need to be part of Archway International Ltd?

You need the following attributes and skills:
          1. Self starter with proven leadership, communication and collaborative attributes.
          2. You need at least 10 years experience in a blue chip company, covering a minimum of two of the following areas:
            1. Business process reengineering inception and management
            2. In depth understanding of the power of internet technologies
            3. IT and Operations Project Inception and Management
            4. Operational Modelling – both current and target
            5. Designing and implementing Operational Risk and Control processes
            6. Using technology to reengineer businesses
          3. You need to be comfortable working in a virtual office environment
          4. You will have a network of quality contacts within blue chip companies, which you will make available to Archway International upon the award of your first contract.
          5. Your professional integrity needs to be without question
          6. You will have delivered in more than one country
          7. You will be an outstanding communicator, preferably effective in two or more languages
