Notes

1) Grain refining elements are used as follows: Nb or V or Al or Nb + V, with one of the ranges being utilized according to the specified on the table.

 

2) For every Carbon 0.01% decrease it is allowed a Manganese 0.06% increase and vice versa, with Mn being

1.60% maximum; and Carbon £ 0.22 for grade 50 or Carbon £ 0.20 for grade 50D.

 

3) TMCR - Thermomechanical Controlled Rolling.

Previous agreement with the client is required.
