CAREER
Dec 1994- Present

I have been working freelance TV as a camera operator and assistant/ focus puller/clapper loader.

Most recently - documenting the recording of Chris Botti`s latest album at Air Studios, for Sony US (on HDV) camera,
Also working on a drama-doc series for National Geographic channel on Hi Def (Panasonic Varicam)

Involved in television productions and commercials for all the major channels,
including CH4s Extreme Archeology (as underground cameraman),
BBC`s Britain's Toughest Family , Battlefield Britain,Hunting Chris Ryan, The Trench,

Also Living Proof, 999, and Earth Story and a range of other shows,
all over the world and in a range of environments including at sea, in the jungle, desert, and arctic.

I also work part time for Silver Productions Ltd as an editor and 3D animator producing 35mm films and commercials.
Recent work in this field includes 3D animation for Wild Dream Films (for "Ancient Discoveries" for The History Channel)
and editing comercials for Yes Car Credit, Hobbycraft and BrightHouse.

I have also provided website media - video, stills and QuickTime VR work for Channel 4's Time Team.

Jul 1994 - Dec 1994

I worked as a staff camera assistant with Positive Film and TV in Camden gaining the skills of location and studio TV work, equipment repair and the responsibilities of office management involved in facility and crew hire.

Sept 1991 - Jul 1994

At Salisbury College of Art I studied a wide-based multimedia course covering the techniques of modern media, from photography, sound recording and editing, to film and video work. I was DP for the 1994 Fuji Scholarship entry "Awoken Strangers.", as well as many other college shorts and outside work, including shooting and editing a 20 minute prospectus video for Ardingly school.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

I have a unique spread of knowledge in a range of multimedia formats and genres
from minicams, through DV, Umatic, BetaSP, Digibeta, Hi Def ,to 35mm cameras on Motion control rigs

In the confines of an edit suite I use 3D Studio Max, After Effects, Photoshop , Premiere and a selection of other programs.
I also enjoy traditional media, having been trained by my grandmother- an accomplished artist herself.

OTHER INFORMATION

I am a scuba diver, can speak reasonable French, have a reliable car and a full driving licence, and am trained in first aid.
I am particularly visually orientated, keen, patient and adaptable, and relish long hours, horizontal rain and cold coffee...
