DENQ - TSO based utility to provide details of SYSTEM wide or job specific ENQueues.

DENQ provides a simple and easy way to diagnose System wide ENQueue problems or ENQueue allocations within any particular address space.

INSTALLATION instructions

   1. Load the object code to an MVS dataset.

            Format BINARY, filesize 4Kb

   2. Use sample JCL to link-edit module into linklist library.

EXAMPLE of use

DENQ is a TSO command. The parameters it requires are as follows,

SYSTEM - Display System wide ENQueues

JOBNAME <all> <hex> - Display ENQueues for a Job/Stc

                                      All will show all allocations (including DSNs)

                                      Hex will show RNAMES in Hexadecimal
