PDSFLIST - DFP Toleration Release Notes.      (Dated 02/12/98).

There is a special version of PDSFLIST available for users of DFP 3.2 and 3.3. It is PDSFLIST Version 3.5 with toleration code added to support execution with the DFP 24-bit interfaces. The code is 'dual pathed' and will run on both DFP and DFSMS/MVS. This makes migration easier. However, *ALL* future enhancements *WILL ONLY* be made to the DFSMS/MVS version of PDSFLIST. Once you have converted to DFSMS/MVS, please upgrade to the latest PDSFLIST version.

Note: The PC file is called PDSFLIST.DFP but should be loaded as PDSFLIST.OBJ

SOFTWARE Requirements

• MVS/ESA and above
• DFP 3.2 and 3.3   OR
• DFSMS/MVS 1.1 and above                                                                                                                                                  

INSTALLATION requirements

    1. Load object code to MVS dataset.

            Format BINARY, filesize 37Kb

    2. Run supplied JCL to assemble and link-edit IRXFUSER module. 

    3. Read/Print the Help File available for PDSFLIST.

    4. Load the Help File to an MVS dataset to use with PDSFLIST.
