Golfers are spoiled for choice, there being 8 varied courses in the area:

• Abernethy 9 tricky holes, visible from the Hotel. (Eric is a member here)
• Boat of Garten 18 holes, a tricky course with wonderful mountain views.
  (Ian, as a better golfer is a member here!)
• Grantown on Spey 18 holes by Scots Pine Forest and Cromdale Hills.
• Carrbridge 9 holes in a birch wood looking to the Cairngorms.
• Kingussie 18 hilly holes in glorious scenery with an infuriating burn through it.
• Nairn. 18 hole championship Links course on the Moray Firth - home to the Walker Cup 1999.
• Royal Dornoch 18 hole championship course within driving distance.
