Sensational Mountain and river views
Sorry, but these may take a short time extra to load - but they are worth it!

Auchendean Auchendean (at far right) and the Cairngorm Mountains

Cairngorm Mountains - 8 out of the 9 Munro tops are visible from Auchendean.

Cromdale Hills - Auchendean looks out to the ridge of the Cromdales.

The The Spey and Cromdales from The Garden

River Spey. The fastest flowing river in Scotland is seen below the hotel as it winds spectacularly from the mountains to the Moray Firth. The Spey is one of Scotland's most famous salmon rivers.

Abernethy Forest which is the remnant of the ancient Caledonian Forest and a Bird Watchers Paradise, is in the valley below the hotel.

Early Early morning mist over The Spey

River Dulnain is a peaty tumbling river which flows from the nearby Monadhliath Mountains. Not as spectacular as the
Cairngorms, they are therefore quieter and provide an interesting wilderness area for naturalists and walkers to explore.
