in the beginning of life we are formed of indifference...

had this concept in my head for ages! it was really annoying me that i didn't actually implement it, so one day i finally got around to creating it. here it is.

based on the idea of collectible cards, i planned to do a series of people/characters i work, live and associate with. homing in on special features or qualities they posses.

in this case my special "feature" is sarcastically represented via my rather large hands!

just using my character "the drunk" as a way of trying to get used to modelling a figure and trying to figure out the boning technique in 3Dstudio max.

this particular piece is a screenshot of a 3D interface which forms part of a project i did whilst in university.

my dissertation was based loosely around the 'digital underground', i.e. non porn based subcultural communities that exsist because of the advent of telecommunication systems or because of the internet.

i wanted to make an interface where i could illustrate the various types of communities which are "out there" and are often misinterpreted by the media. giving the viewer a brief insight into the background of these communities, what they do specifically that defines them and links for further information/reference.
