What we believe is summed up in a nutshell, by the answer to the First question of the Scottish Catechism, (Question) "What is the chief end of Man?" (Answer) "Man's chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him for ever."
Tragically quite a lot of what we do, and are, does not glorify God, and this prevents us enjoying Him forever, unless, we accept the redemption offered through Christ.
