The Bridge Folk Club @ Newcastle

The following info was supplied to me by Dave Minikin tel: 0191 2376249
The Bridge Folk Club, previously known as Folk Song & Ballad, is the oldest club in the country, operating in the Bridge Hotel, in Castle Square, right opposite the Keep on the Newcastle end of the High level bridge. You can get to the Bridge easily by train, bus and Metro, there is also ample parking outside.

Every Monday night you are guaranteed a plethora of fine singers with material ranging from trad to contemporary. Every person who comes along is encouraged, but never forced, to participate, whether it be a song, tune, poem, monologue, tap dance or just join in the choruses.

Admission on singers/musicians nights is free, and a charge on guest nights.
