In addition to this any driver that increases his finishing position compared with the grid position will get an extra 1 point for every 2 full positions gained. This means that only 1 point is awarded if 3 positions are gained.

E.g. If Button started on grid position 15 and finished 3rd then he would get an extra 6 points. This only counts for drivers, not constructors, and they have to finish the race.

In addition to this every 3rd Grand Prix, bonus points will be awarded for managers correctly guessing the results and/or finishers of a race. Details will be made available prior to the races concerned.

Also the Driver that gets the fastest lap on the day also gets 1 point.

The constructor’s points are only awarded for both cars e.g. if Jordan were 1st and 2nd in the race the points a team would get is 8.

The final bonus round will be the Final Grand Prix of the season and all predictions will get 4 points for each correct one. In addition to this
