Casa de Campo is a park of over 4000 acres on a hill on the
outskirts of Madrid. This park was opened to the public in the 1930's.
When we visited in 1999 we took a cable car ride up to the Casa de Campo from the Parque del Oueste.
At the place where you get off the cable car is this cafe with an outdoor terrace.
In the park are many ancient trees including pine and oak species. The zoo and an amusement
park are also situated in the Casa de Campo.
