Park Guell

This park is located to the north of the city and was opened in 1922, it consists of about 20 hectares of gardens containing buildings and sculptures created by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi and his colleagues. The sculptures are covered in multi-coloured mosaics, and include a lizard fountain, a curved bench and balcony.

The house in the picture is in the park, and was lived in by Gaudi for 20 years. This house was created by Francesc Berenguer. It is now a museum and inside are items of furniture designed by Gaudi.
