If you attend a fiesta in Barcelona or one of the nearby towns, you may see teams of people competing to make the highest human tower.
These are called Castellers, and a tower can be up to 7 storeys high. A small boy climbs up onto the top of the tower. The boy is known as the Anxaneta.
These human towers were photographed in 1999 at the fiesta of Poble Sec, a town not far from Barcelona.
