Menorcan Horses In 1998 we went to a display of horse riding and dressage at Club Escola Menorquina, Carretera Cala Galdana, near Ferreries. This display demonstrated how the black Menorcan horses are specially trained in a unique style to take part in the fiestas on the island. There was also a separate routine with grey Andalucian horses and a procession of traditional Menorcan horse-drawn vehicles.
