The Retiro is a park of 300 acres which was once the grounds of a royal palace. This photo of the boating lake in the Retiro was taken on an Sunday evening in November 1999. In the park there are also some some cafes, a rose garden, and sometimes there are performers such as musicians and magicians as well as vendors selling a variety of goods.
