Temple Sagrada Familia The Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia is a large and very unusual church and the architect Antoni Gaudi worked on it from 1883 until he was killed in an accident in 1926. The church is still in the process of construction (1999) but is open to visitors and is a very popular tourist attraction. Two opposite sides of the church are the Passion Facade and the Nativity Facade, both in different styles. The Nativity Facade was designed by Gaudi and part of it is shown in this photo.
