The Sebright bantam is one of the jewels of the poultry fancy. The special rose comb, the detailed, delicate lacing, the plumage— the same for male and female, make it a most interesting breed. The term Game Fowl is restricted to what are termed "Hard Feathered" breeds and includes Aseel, Malays, Old English Game and Thai Game as well as Japanese breeds such as Shamo. There are differences of opinion on some breeds such as Sumatra (Game) and Modern Game are not really true Game. Indian Game are treated separately. Cockfighting in Britain is illegal and must not be practised.
