I am an experienced teacher, both of adults and children, and am available to run workshops and residencies in drawing, painting and printmaking. I have a portable etching press, which enables me to teach intaglio printmaking, where it would otherwise not be possible.
| A one-day residency for year 7 students in a local school using a professional model. This included an afternoon of intuitive working based on Cecil Collins' teaching methods where the students had to work with both hands at the same time, a different medium in each hand, on a series of quick dynamic poses. |
| A project called "Hold on Tight - A Celebration of the Rural Bus Service", commissioned by the local district council. I worked in local schools with sixth formers and year 8 students printing intaglio collographs, and with a primary school which produced a 15 foot frieze made up of relief prints. |
