   This was a massive open air show staged by the Allied Forces (Great Britain, France &
  the USA) to mark the withdrawl of troops from Berlin. The band co-headlined with
  Status Quo before an estimated 300,000 people.

   This was a special California Beach Band show for Northwest Airlines - as well as Mike,
  Bruce also appeared, and some reports had Alan playing as well. Wrong Jardine - it was
  Matt.

   Brian himself performed at this tribute for him, at which he first encountered Wondermints,
  and was duly impressed.

  didn't. When asked about it later he said they knew he wouldn't be there.
