About the Chalets

Both chalets, Le Cochon Noir and Les Trolls, are new, detached, traditionally built from pine and similar in layout. Chalet le Cochon Noir has  4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living area, kitchen, garage and a large terrace. Chalet Les Trolls has 3/4* bedrooms, 2/3* bathrooms, large living area, kitchen, garage and a large terrace. The chalets are in a group of 6 chalets on the mountain side. The chalets are fully equipped and sleep up to 9  people each and so with 2 we can offer accomodation for parties up to 18 (summer) and 16 (winter). Please note that in the winter minimum occupancy is 4 per chalet. They are situated part way up the mountain at Morillon with stunning 180° views of the Giffre valley.

The chalets are 100m² and are newly furnished to the highest standard. The  bedrooms are all twin bedded, the beds can be pushed together to make doubles. Cotton sheets, pillows, duvets and towels are provided. All bedrooms have wardrobes and bedroom furniture. The chalet bathrooms are newly equipped, all have showers, one has a bath and there is also a separate toilet. The kitchen has oak fitted cupboards, fitted hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, a large fridge freezer and leads off the living room for sociable cooking. The living room is open plan and has a dining area and comfortable sofas to relax around after an active day on the piste or mountain biking. Underfloor heating and wall mounted radiators mean that the chalet is warm and cosy in the middle of winter. There is also a log burner to sit around in the winter evenings. There is a large heated Boot, Coat and Gloves cupboard so that your you have nice warm boots, coats and gloves to put on in the morning. The living room has wall height windows that allow you to take in the spectacular 180° views over the valley whilst relaxing in the sofas or enjoying your meal at the dining table. The chalets are fully equipped with Satellite TV, DVD, 5 CD stacker HiFi (which you can plug your Ipod into) and a selection of films, music, books, magazines and board games. We also provide free ADSL WiFi Broadband Internet access so you can keep on top of your email or even work should you feel inclined! There is also a phone for incoming calls only.

In Summer open the patio doors to the terrace and sit outside taking in the mountain and valley view. Enjoy the long summer evenings and barbecue on the terrace with the chalet barbecue.

The chalets have a long slope behind them which is ideal for sledging and having fun in the snow during the winter and is very safe for the kids / big kids to spend hours enjoying themselves. Sledges are supplied with our chalets. Click here  to discover more about Winter activities.
