teams as he’s move to Bradford University has proven to be too much
without being able to play his beloved football.
Edgar will
make an official switch to Leeds United Ability Counts FC on January 18th
in a move, which will see him being released by ITDFC.
ITDFC
manager Hennon said “Eddo has always had the clubs backing at whatever
he has decided to do, he’s always put 100 percent into everything he has
done at the club, he is a good role model and a very likable character the
will be missed”.
Assistant manager David Mullett added “I’ve know Edgar for along time
and it will be a shame to see him go, not only as a player but as a friend
to all at ITDFC”.
When Edgar was ask for his last comments he said “Ipswich Town F.C have
always been a massive part of my life and when the change of being able to
represent them by joining their disability team came along, I was
overjoyed. Since joining the club I have had a great time, which I will
remember for many years to come. It’s been great being able to train and
play along side many great players, of whom I now class all as good
friends. I believe that ITDFC have progressed a lot since first starting,
they have a lot of potential and I wish all at the club the very best for
the future”.
