Wilkinson Leads the Charge
08:45 GMT
As thirty four drivers, the most in an IGP3C session, fought for grid positions, Artur Costa found himself knocked off pole position for the first time this season. In fact, it was Daniel Wilkinson who lead the way for BSR in the form of FOX-BSR. Pole position went to IGP3C rookie Scott Pocock, closely followed by Koskinen, Ytsma and Koskinen. Wilkinson pulled out and impressive lap to put his FOX-BSR on the third row, alongside the recovering Artur Costa in the BSR-02. The second FOX car of Pablo Arteaga lines up only two places behind Wilkinson in eighth, and a real battle between the FOX drivers is developing. Andy Graydon lines up in 11th having worked really had on setup over the last week and Matt Maple, who has had a poor start to the season, sits an encouraging 14th. Brian Crowley who was also struggling with the handling of the PH-1 rounds out the BSR teams with a grid position of 22.
These results again confirm the dominance of the Alcoholica team in the constructors championship, and the quality of the IGP3C grid, which is covered by just five and a half seconds for all thirty four competitors.
BSR Team Boss, Ben Saunders, had these comment: 'Well, another great result for the BSR squad. Wilkinson continues to shine in the FOX-BSR car and Arteaga is really driving well, which makes the FOX-BSR team a really strong package. I'm delighted with the form of Costa on his return from illness, and Matt Maple seems to have found a set up to suite his style at this track, which is really encouraging. The Power Horse boys really tend to shine in the race, so I think we can look forward to seeing them come through the pack!'

Fantastic FOX Debut, Disappointment for Costa!
12:00 GMT
An eventful weekend for BSR Grand Prix saw an impressive debut for the new FOX-BSR team, disappointment for PHR, and illness for championship leader Artur Costa.
After Daniel Wilkinson secured sixth on the grid, and Pablo Arteaga lined up in seventh, the signs were good for the new FOX-BSR team. And on race day Wilkinson drove fantastically in changeable weather to get as high as 3rd before falling back to 4th at the finish line. Arteage was just as impressive on his FOX debut, with an aggressive drive to an eventual 5th place and more valuable team points.
The Power Horse team was surrounded by controversy this weekend, when a software error caused all sorts of problems for the IGP3C Council. The issue was finally resolved after Crowley originally offered to withdraw his result and was then re-instated in 14th position. Graydon suffered in the appalling weather during the second half of the race, having climbed up to 4th in dry conditions, fell back to 16th by the chequred flag.
Meanwhile, the BSR Grand Prix team, which had really been the dominant BSR team until Brazil, suffered with illness and a BSR-02 that had suffered handling problems since qualifying. Artur Costa, who had qualified in pole for the third successive race, was unable to make the starting grid for the Brazilian GP due to sickness and spent the rest of the weekend in the circuit medical center. On track, Matt Maple struggled with the BSR-02 for the entire race. Although he had climbed to 9th by his pit stop, when the rain started to fall, the BSR-02 was almost undrivable, dropping him down the field to an eventual 17th.

Sickness Hampers Costa
12:00 GMT
Artur Costa, having secured pole position for the Brazilian Grand Prix, has informed the BSR Grand Prix team that he will be unable to compete in the race due to server sickness. This news is not only a blow for the BSR team, but also for Artur Costa's championship aspirations, where he is currently leading a close fought battle ahead of Alcoholica drivers Arto Rissanen and Aki Koskinen. All at BSR Grand Prix wish Artur a speedy recovery.
