30/11/2001 FGP3L: Suzuka
Artur Costa, who took pole in the last round of the championship at the Nurburgring, has again taken pole position in Japan. His championship rival, Aki Koskinen also starts on the front row of the grid. So with only the race to go, one point separates these two rivals, with Aki leading the way at the moment. BSR Grand Prix driver, Bob Plummer, takes 11th on the grid, only one place behind a disappointed Matt Maple, who joins the team next year. Ben Saunders, who has race regularly for BSR this season, was taken ill last weekend and unable to qualify for this, the last race of the 2001 calendar, however he will be starting from 22nd on the grid.

22/11/2001 Andy Graydon: LFRS RACE MANAGER
Some changes are taking place in the BSR Grand Prix team in preparation for the 2002 championships. The first new appointment was detailed in a statement from the team this morning: 'Andy Graydon is pleased to accept the role of LFRS Race Manager on behalf of the BSR team.  The role will involve being the central contact point for any BSR driver's queries relating to racing in the LFRS.  Andy will also be contacting drivers on a regular basis to update them with upcoming race information, and to hopefully increase the number of driver's participating in the race weekends.'
Team Boss, Ben Saunders, also released these comments: 'I see this a great move for the team, Andy has been a key player in BSR Grand Prix, and with our expanding effort in the FGP3L next year, I really need to relinquish some responsibilities for the LFRS team. I truly believe Andy is the right man for the job and will handle this role as enthusiastically as ever!'
Andy Graydon's new position is effective immediately.
22/11/2001 LFRS: Adelaide Results Update
After an appeal by the BSR team, Carlos Enrique Rivas has had his results checked by the LFRS and has been re-instated in the race. He crashed out on lap 67, but for some reason, his result was not confirmed. He now collects 20 points for finishing 8th in the race. Sven Kaeser now collects 18 points for 9th.

20/11/2001 LFRS: Adelaide Results
A great weekend in Australia saw Andy Graydon score a podium for BSR Grand Prix. He drove magnificently from 14th on the grid to claim the second podium for BSR in their short racing History! In class A, Sven Kaeser qualified well and was unlucky to crash out on lap 67, while Carlos Enrique Rivas unfortunately had  technical problems with his BSR-01 on the Adelaide Grid. Class B was dominated by Graydon's result, although other runners included Anton Jon, who scored his first points for BSR when he qualified 17th and raced well, but crashed out on lap 16, and Javier  Quintero, who also debuted for BSR this weekend, but was disqualified for a technical infringement. One of our star drivers was also out of action this weekend, having qualified well in 9th place, Daniel Wilkinson had problems with the software on the BSR-01 and failed to make the grid for the race. Finally, class F, Brian Crowley and Peter Notaras both raced well  to 16th and 20th respectively, while Ben Saunders crashed out early in the race. However all three picked up valuable points for BSR Grand Prix.
The BSR team boss, Ben Saunders, spoke to us earlier, 'I'm absolutely delighted for Andy (Graydon). He has really worked hard this season and it's good to see him finally on the podium. That is not to detract from the efforts of the other BSR divers though, and it's great to see our cars out on track, and really encouraging to see some new faces. I hope we can go to Japan and finish the season in style!'
The BSR outfit now travels to the season finale at Suzuka in Japan.

Finnish driver, Aki Koskinen stormed to his fifth win of the 2001 season , and in doing so, is back on the top of the championship table with 213 points, 5 clear of second place man, Artur Costa with 208. Koskinen finished over 19 second clear of his Portuguese rival at the penultimate round of this seasons championship and puts himself in pole position to take the title, which will be decided in Japan. The podium was completed by Jari Ohramaa of Finland. Matt Maple, who will be racing at the BSR squad next year, came home seventh, while Bob Plummer picked up two points for BSR with an 11th place finish. Ben Saunders, who struggled all weekend at the Nurburgring crashed out of the race on lap 29, while fighting for tenth spot. The Championship is down to the wire now with all to play for at the Japanese Grand Prix in 2 weeks.

15/11/2001 LFRS: Adelaide Testing
Andy Graydon and Daniel Wilkinson again look to be the pace setters with BSR Grand Prix, with other drivers striving to match their times! Many drivers have been putting in practice sessions around the superb Adelaide street circuit. With only 5 days to go until the race deadline we should see quite a few more cars on track over the weekend
13/11/2001 BSR Racing Magazine - Launched
BSR Racing, the new publication by the BSR Grand Prix team, has been launched today! All BSR drivers should have received a copy today, via e-mail. If you are not a BSR driver, or you just haven't received your copy, you can download the magazine here! The magazine will also be uploaded to the BSR Grand Prix website later this week.
Team boss, Ben Saunders, had these comments, 'I am really excited by this new venture! I hope it will keep everyone informed about BSR and also expand our audience. A lot of work has been put in to the articles by people related to the team and I would like to express my gratitude to them!'
13/11/2001 FGP3L: Nurburgring
Artur Costa, who joins BSR Grand Prix next year, has not only taken pole position for the race, but also the lead in the championship! Artur drove fantastically to force Aki Koskinen in to second place on the Grid, while Matt Maple, also joining the BSR squad in 2002, secured 5th place in his first appearance for the Cottster team. The current BSR crop, did not fair quite so well. Ben Saunders starts from 11th, while Bob Plummer, on his return to competitive motor sport, is alongside Saunders in 12th. Both drivers struggled due to lack of track time, and their aim is to net some race points for the team.

09/11/2001 Matt Maple to Drive for Cottster
It has now been agreed that Matt Maple, who has signed to race for BSR in 2002, will drive at Cottster Racing for the remaining rounds of this years championship. This gives Matt a chance to race alongside Artur Costa, who he will partner next season. Meanwhile, Bob Plummer will be returning to the BSR squad for the next FGP3L at the Nurburgring.
06/11/2001 LFRS Spa Results
From a great weekend to a not so great weekend for BSR Grand Prix. In Hungary, we had 12 drivers on track in the LFRS, here only 7 raced, which is a real shame for the team. The best results again came from our two star drivers, Daniel Wilkinson and Andy Graydon. Daniel drove brilliantly to the finish ,to collect 16 points for BSR, although he was disappointed with his performance! Andy Graydon raced well until lap 18 when he had a massive shunt in the BSR-01. Luckily, he was unhurt and was classified in 10th place. Sven Kaeser set a good pace in qualifying but was disqualified from the race standings, this is still being looked into. Carlos Rivas did a great job to qualify in 14th place for his class A race, only for the electrical system on his BSR-01 to fail on grid, forcing him to retire from the race. Finally in Class F, all three drivers crashed out of the race, but manage to pick up points for their efforts. The best qualifier in F was Brian Crowley, but unfortunately he was punted off in the race. Overall, the best qualifying lap came from Daniel Wilkinson, with a time of 1m46.278s.
A down beat team boss, Ben Saunders, had these comments, 'I'm not over the moon about this race, to only have 7 cars competing is a major disappointment, and to have gained so few points is not really what we needed. I hope we can turn things around in Australia, we need some good results there! I think that there will be some team changes before that event!'
From here the LFRS and the BSR Squad, move to the Australian circuit of Adelaide.

05/11/2001 LFRS: Spa-Francorchamps
It looks like being a poor weekend for the BSR team as many drivers have suffered at the hands of the software gremlins. Anton Jon will not be competing due to a systems malfunction, nor will Benoit Wiersma who has had problems with a new software install (windows XP!!). Ben Saunders and Andy Graydon were both involved in massive shunts in the BSR-01, both were unharmed although Saunders struggled with setup problems. Wilkinson has been the pace setter for the BSR team and will hopefully return another great result.
05/11/2001 Maple to Race in 2001!
It now looks like Matt Maple will be racing for the BSR Grand Prix squad for the remainder of 2001. Matt, who has been piloting the European RCT in the last two races has now been released from the remainder of his contract for 2001. It looks like Maple will see out the 2002 championship behind the wheel of a BSR-01. Although the details are not final, it is unlikely that he will drive for any other team in the FGP3L this year.
04/11/2001 BSR Sign Two Chargers
The BSR Grand Prix team can today announce that it has signed two top drivers to compete in the Finnish Grand Prix League in 2002. Artur Costa who currently drivers for Cottster Racing and is duelling for the FGP3L championship is to be joined by new charger Matt Maple, who has really shone in his first two outings for the European RCT team! Both drivers will complete the season for their current teams but will then move to BSR to launch a title challenge for 2002. Team boss Ben Saunders, who also drives in the FGP3L had these comments, 'I am absolutely delighted to welcome Artur and Matt to the team. I really believe that they will work brilliantly together and will be a serious threat to next years title. Artur has shown stunning ability this year and has proved himself as one of the fastest drivers in the world, as his recent world record at Silverstone proves. Matt has fitted into the European team seamlessly and delivered two excellent results in a brand new environment. I think that these guys will be the team to beat in 2002. All we need to do now is provide them with machinery to complete the task that lays ahead.'
So the line-up for BSR Grand Prix in 2002 in the FGP3L, which is to be renamed the 'International Grand Prix 3 Championship', is to be:
BSR Grand Prix: Artur Costa POR
Matt Maple GBR
Power Horse Racing - BSR: Ben Saunders GBR
Bob Plummer GBR
