Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Anna studied at the Sibelius Academy,
Finland, and at the Royal Northern College of Music, England. She
holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Eurythmics and has played the
flute in Växjö Symphony Orchestra.
Anna joined Gothenburg
Opera in 1998, her repertory including Olga (Eugene
Onegin) and Un Musico (Puccini’s Manon Lescaut).
She has sung Bianca (The Rape of Lucretia) with
British Youth Opera and Kiel Opera, Germany, and Phoebe (The Yeomen
of the Guard) with British Youth Opera and Carl Rosa Opera and Meg
Page (Falstaff ) with Wexford Festival Opera. Anna appeared at the
Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Fourth Page (Lohengrin), La
cugina di Cio-cio-san and Amiche di Cio-cio-san (Madama Butterfly),
solo quintet (Sweeney Todd), one of the orphans (der Rosenkavalier),
where she also covered the following roles: the Duchshund (the
Cunning little Vixen), Kätchen (Werther), Suzy (la Rondine and
Schwertleite (Die Walkűre).
Anna has also given recitals in the Aix-en-Provence
Festival and at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and she
regularly appears in oratorio in the UK and Sweden.
