Most people receive free eye examinations paid for by the NHS –
§ All patients 60 or over
§ Children
§ Full time students under 19
§ Those persons on low income
§ Those with complex lenses
§ Diabetic patients
§ Glaucoma and glaucoma risk patients
Our fee for non-exempt patients is currently £19.50 or £27.00 for contact lenses.
The eye examination will include whatever tests are required to ensure continued healthy eyes and optimum vision.
A prescription will be issued if necessary should you require spectacles or contact lenses.
You will be advised if any therapeutic treatment is necessary.
