These are sets of 24 coaching cards, each introducing a skill with the rules and coaching points to aid the coach. Each is in the form of a simple lesson / session plan suitable for working with players at different stages of their development.

1.       Fun warm ups, introductory activities and small games aimed at Key stage 2, 3 and 4.

2.       Progressive attacking, defending and shooting practices aimed at Key stage 3, 4 and 5. 

3.       Decision making and games options in attack and defence including setting up / zones / training peripheral vision etc. Suitable for the more advanced player.

Each circuit includes a pack of cards  for placing around a sports hall.

 

1.       Simple endurance based activities and shuttle runs with choice of three levels

2.       General early season circuit combining simple skills and fitness activities

3.       Aerobic footwork circuit covering the specific playing areas of the players on the court

4.       Drills and activities requiring good handling and footwork skills

5.       Activities to develop leg and arm strength

Circuits 1 and 2 are suitable for players of all ages and ability. Circuits 3, 4 and 5 are more demanding on fitness and require players to have a certain degree of skill to start with in order to achieve the level of performance to achieve an improvement in the fitness component.
