SEARCH TIPS |
In general it is best to enter as little as possible commensurate with obtaining, but not being overwhelmed by, results.
Start with a small amount of information and refine your search if there are too many results.
The wildcard character "*" may be used if you are uncertain
of spelling. Thus Ste* will locate Stephen(s) and Steven(s).
The "*" represents a string of characters of any length and may be used in any position in both the author and title boxes.
Author
Surname alone will usually suffice. Authors with a common surname may be distinguished by entering Surname, Christian name (or initials).
Note the comma.
Title
A single keyword from the title is normally sufficient. Where you enter more than one word these
should be consecutive words from the actual title.
The operator "+" is NOT supported.
Remember that even if you are searching for a single title, which you are certain that you have entered accurately, I might
have made an error when entering it into my database.
