Held a number of voluntary positions in the local community and developed

Manager of a team consisting of 2 Forecast Analysts and 2 Data Administrators
in the Inventory Management department.
Key task was the user development of the Corporate Inventory Planning
Systems (IBM mainframe with ASI package). Involved simulations for fine
tuning the packaged part of the System, user testing of enhancements and
upgrades to the system, plus investigations into the implementation of
other sites and onto other platforms. Handled the Account for the Systems
package/ consultancy.
Role also covered management of Inventory Reporting (mainframe reports
and User generated reports via FOXPRO) and management of day-to-day systems
operations and administration on Inventory related issues (monitoring
systems, schedule problems, keypunch updates, report distribution, user
contact for systems queries).
Later also became the Inventory user representative on Corporate Customer
and Warehouse Management system (AS400) during the final developmental,
user and system testing stages of the system. Trained the Inventory, Purchasing
and Supply staff on the relevant parts of the system.

of a Material Release module through the full project life cycle.
Also worked on the team for support and development of the Corporate Purchasing
system and covered general support and on-call for Inbound Company systems.
