The H-series covered the 500 (H1) and 750 (H2) triples. Starting with the 1969 H1 (Mach III), the 500 went through a number of changes, and the H1A, H1B, H1D, H1E and H1F were finally followed by the KH500. Not forgetting the legendary H1C, apparently cobbled together from a load of old bits, but never seen in the UK. The 1972 H2 (Mach IV) was followed by the H2A, H2B and H2C, but there is no evidence that the supposed KH750 ever existed.
