RN Worth (1895) says there is "a menhir, 5' high... and more or less in line with this, down the hill to the NW, are scattered upright stones, which may have formed part of a row."
The "menhir" is a boundary for the Lydford and Bridestow parishes.
The scattered stones are not upright.
