Comments Butler (1991) suggests a double stone row of about a dozen set slabs aligned directly downhill from a cairn. On 13th Sep 2009, the immediate area downhill was gorse covered, but there are four stones further down, which might be artificially set, at 68460 73905, 68450 73891, 68448 73881 and 68445 73872. They show no significant alignment with each other or the cairn.
There are similar possibly set stones in a line on the opposite slope, SE of Yar Tor.
Crossing may have been referring to the Yar Tor triple row. .
