I got tickets for this gig mail order from the Apollo, they arrived and to my unbelievable delight were Stalls Row A. Got through ftom Edinburgh and into the theatre in good time,  got directed to our seats, sure enough front row. As those who witnessed the Apollo experience will recall it had a 10ft stage, not too bad if you standing down the front in the mosh ( what were they called before mosh? ) pit, but for a seated, acoustic, solo Neil it was a disaster. We saw him come on, wave, then when he sat to play, we gould just see the top of his head. Had to move, found two seats on the aisle back about a couple of dozen rows.Watched an amazing gig, Midnight on the bay had the while place swaying, no one seems to know, ( I've seen Neil do this song twice :-)  remember the fan in Hurricane (first hearing) Cortez weaving magic on and on, the huge Canadian flag from one of the boxes.
